Request an Out-of-Area Exemption

This form may be used to apply for an out of area exemption from the vehicle emissions testing requirement in accordance with the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law of 2005 (625 ILCS 5/13C-15(b)(9)) and 35 Ill. Adm. Code Section 276.405. This form is used to verify the current location of the vehicle outside the Illinois vehicle emissions testing area.
